Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how PDF Gate for Webflow collects, uses, and protects information when you create an account, upload PDFs, and gate them on your Webflow site. By using PDF Gate, you agree to these practices.

1. Who We Are

PDF Gate for Webflow is built and operated by VictorFlow, a template creator and design studio. For questions about this policy or your data, contact us at info@victorflow.com.

2. Information We Collect

  • Information you provide directly: your name, email address, password, workspace details, and any messages you send to support.
  • Content you upload: PDF files, gate designs, form settings, and email templates you create in the app.
  • Webflow connection data: when you connect a Webflow site, we receive the site, page, and CMS information needed to attach gates to your content. We do not access your Webflow password.
  • Visitor submissions: when visitors to your Webflow site fill in a gate form, we collect the details your form asks for (such as name and email) along with download and view events.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider, Polar.sh. We do not store your card details on our servers.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referrer data, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage your account and verify logins
  • Host your PDFs and serve them to visitors who pass your gates
  • Deliver visitor submissions, analytics, and exports to you
  • Process subscriptions and billing
  • Send account, security, billing, and service notices
  • Send product updates or marketing emails, which you can opt out of at any time
  • Provide customer support
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues
  • Improve the app and your experience
  • Comply with legal and tax obligations

4. Visitor Data You Collect

When you use PDF Gate to collect information from visitors to your own website, you are responsible for that data and for having a lawful basis to collect it, including any notices or consent your visitors need. We process visitor submissions on your behalf and only to provide the service to you.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, analyze usage, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work if they are disabled.

6. How We Share Your Information

  • Service providers: companies that help us run the app, including hosting, sign-in and file storage (Amazon Web Services), database (Neon), email delivery (Amazon SES, and Resend for accounts that connect their own), payments (Polar.sh), and Webflow for site integration.
  • Legal reasons: when required by law or a valid government request, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We may keep certain data longer to meet legal, tax, and reporting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and respond promptly to any issues.

9. International Users

VictorFlow operates from India and serves customers worldwide. Your information may be processed and stored in India and in other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your own.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your data; object to or restrict processing; and withdraw consent for marketing. Users in the EEA and UK are covered by the GDPR, users in India by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and California residents may have rights under the CCPA.

11. Marketing Communications

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We will still send essential account and transactional messages.

12. Children's Privacy

PDF Gate is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact info@victorflow.com.

13. Third-Party Links

The app may link to external sites, including Webflow. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies before sharing information with them.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the date above when we do. For significant changes, we may notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use PDF Gate after an update means you accept the revised policy.
